Our team is growing!
We are grateful to God for the answers to our prayers for the team. We prayed for a very long time for a youth leader, and the Lord sent us a young man from our Sevastopol church.
His name is Kirill. He felt an urge from God to come to our help us to work with youth.
At first, he planned to stay for a short time to verify his calling – whether it was from God. And now, with full confidence, he plans to stay with us for several years, realizing that it was God who brought him here.
During 3 months of his stay in Bulgaria, he revived the board games club for non-believers at our office. Now the club is held regularly once a week, where an average of 10 people come. He also organized a hiking trip for young boys and began a Bible study with one young man.
Now we have found an opportunity to get a long-term visa for him, and he went to Ukraine to submit documents. We are very grateful for the financial assistance provided for the execution of his documents to our ECMA union and our Sevastopol Church of God Horizon, especially to the youth of this church.
Also, God heard our prayers for another family of ministers.
Georgy and Elmira Kovach came to us together with their 6-year-old son Ratmir.
George is an experienced minister, which greatly strengthens our team. They blended so well into our small community that everyone felt as if they had always been a part of our church. George is an ethnic Bulgarian, which will allow us to serve Bulgarians in the future as well. Now we are actively engaged in obtaining a residence permit for them.
This summer we were unable to hold a camp, as we were not sure that another lockdown would not be introduced in Bulgaria. It was also impossible to plan the arrival of the team. Thank God that our friends from Varna held their camp and our guys were able to serve in the leadership team. Also, our church has held many activities, inviting non-believers and developing closer relationships with them. We are now starting to plan for outreach activities for Christmas.
- Opening long-term visas for Kirill and the Kovach family.
- To completely cover the debt on the premises we rent; now we can cover the monthly rent and utilities on our own and with the help of those who donate monthly. But the lease debt remains large – 5 months = 1350 euros.
