Exciting News!
From Maarten & Nelleke Slot in Spain

As a church we are in a very special phase. In three weeks we hope to send out our first missionary. A young Spanish lady will be going to work in a translation project amongst a tribe in South America that doesn’t have a Bible in their own language.
We are a small church community, but thanks to the support of other C&MA churches here in Spain have we been able to find enough funds for her work. When I was in Spain in 2006 for an exploration trip, she had just come to faith. Now most of her family have become believers as well, and she starts this big adventure!
Family News
We have great news! If everything goes well, we’ll become grandparents in October!
Anne Dagmar and Christian are doing very well and enjoy this special time. Anne was going to finish her last year of nursing, but with the baby coming, she will have half a year’s delay, but she is determined to finish it.
| Home assignment
Because of Anne’s pregnancy we have decided to go on home assignment 6 months later than we planned. Instead of August, we hope to leave in December for the Netherlands. That way we can be around to meet our first grandchild! |
